Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to
talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should
sign your posts by typing four
tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --

It may help you to know that FA articles, and especially the leads of a long-established and carefully supervised article, are best edited by newcomers by their entering firstly the discussion on the talk page, engaging with experienced editors, and raising issues and making proposals there, so the community can weigh them on their merits. To do, as you have done, i.e., persist in making alterations to the page that show no regard for policy, and which ignores the advice given to you on the talk page after your first, manifestly ill-considered edits, is potentially disruptive. Arbitration Committee has permitted
administrators to impose, at their own discretion,
sanctions on any editor working on pages broadly related to
Shakespeare authorship question if the editor repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the
purpose of Wikipedia, any expected
standards of behavior, or any
normal editorial process. The committee's full decision can be read at
Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Shakespeare authorship question#Final decision. Your recent edits to the
Shakespeare authorship question page that you made without discussion were unhelpful and have been reverted. Please discuss any suggested edits on the talk page before changing the text or images on the page.
