Hi Anjali, did you by chance check out the guidelines for choosing a language on Sakai? Please go back and review them. Ainu is going to be a tough choice because the English language version, [Ainu language] is so rich in detail. Additionally, your lead and bibliography lacks references to peer-reviewed scholarly resources; right now, you just have a bunch of links to other material found online, but not in scholarly sources. Hello,

I rewrote your leads with some changes that I think help make it more clear.

I made some grammatical corrections, and I re-ordered the sentences in what I think is a more chronological way.

I'm not sure the sentences "Of the 150,000 people who claim to be of Ainu origin, a majority of them strictly speak Japanese. Those who are actually of Ainu decent are thought to be of higher class, but others choose to deny it in fear of discrimination" are necessary as I don't see how they relate to the Ainu language, unless the fear of discrimination is what keeps people from speaking the Ainu language, in which case you could make that more evident. Also, that information would probably better fit into a "history" section rather than your lead.

The part about traditional Ainu stories is interesting, perhaps if you could find some examples that would be good for the "examples" section of your article.

In terms of sources, more reliable/academic ones would be helpful.
