I find citing sources daunting here as well. I do it the old fashioned way. After a quote or a if I'm citing information I paraphrased, I put the author's name and the page of the work in parenthesis at the the end-- (Author, 76). Then I have an alphabetised Sources or Works Cited at the end. There I put Authors last name, first name, Title of sources, publisher, date published. The Sources section of the Largo, Florida article-- Largo, Florida#Sources has good examples.
For online sources, I put the author if I know it or the Title if I don't, with a link to the source. Here's an example from the Largo page * [http://www.largo.com/index.cfm?action=about About Largo Page. produces * About Largo Page.
Hope this helps. Cheers, :) Dlohcierekim 13:09, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
