  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

Speedy deletion of Aditya Narain Srivastava

A tag has been placed on Aditya Narain Srivastava requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{ hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Regarding E=mc^2

Hi LikeBox,

I am not convinced of your reasons whay ou have deleted my entry. Can you please higlight reason.

In fact your modifying subject content seems very defensive from your side.

I would like to draw the attention of nobel laureates to settle this.

An Aspiring Nobel Laureate —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aditya narain srivastava ( talkcontribs) 02:29, 5 May 2009 (UTC) reply

The Nobel prize is a form of recognition, but not the only one. Not all great scientists are nobel lauriates, the list of great physicists that have never received the nobel prize is at least equally illustrious. Disputes in science are usually settled by ordinary people talking honestly, thinking honestly, calculating, and experimenting. It doesn't require special authority figures to step in.
Here is what I deleted:
It is very clear from above that Einstein's famous equation is correct at micro level or sub atomic level and interpretation that Energy and Mass are readily convertible into each other in real macro world ,is not complete truth but is a limited form of grand Energy equiation, an equation that will be grand enough to integrate all forms of energy observed in this Universe i.e. physical, chemical and biological energy. This is also inline with an agreement that anti-matter has not been observed in real world. Our practical observations till now are also inline with above argument.
The reason I deleted your comments is because they are nonsense: what is the "grand energy equation"? What is the difference between "biological energy" and "chemical energy"? Anti-matter is routinely observed in laboratories. This is half-baked personal opinion, and it is being inserted into an article on something well established. That's not polite.
