Just want to note that the user you reverted on the dates for the 2026 World Cup—AMamun84—is up against 3RR after making the same change at 16:34 yesterday, 14:06 today, and 14:28 today. Plus, as you noted, the date format that user persists in using is wrong. 1995hoo ( talk) 20:14, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
Adeletron 3030, I just want to make sure you are aware of the RFC at the WikiProject_Football talk page (I am not sure how to post a wikilink for that, so try pasting this: /info/en/?search=Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Football ). A user started an RFC to force the use of either British or some amorphous "Commonwealth" English for ALL purposes (including British spellings like "recognise," etc.) for ALL World Cup articles regardless of the host country. It's pretty clear that the majority of people commenting are all European and are all going to rush to agree with it, but I figured you ought to weigh in because your edits to the 2026 article have shown you care about the issue. 1995hoo ( talk) 17:10, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
