I'd advise against starting a wiki page, unfortuntely -- it'll probably get deleted (see WP:NOR). But an article like "spiritual use of quantum mechanics" would be cool). Tlogmer 23:33, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
With all due respect... as a quantum metaphysicist that isn’t interested in Eastern mysticism one needs to define the terms appropriately. Mysticism is a new 20th century term from the insertion of Eastern philosophical ideas into metaphysics... regardless of individual interpretations the correct term for the last 3000 years has been metaphysics… and not pseudoscience and or mysticism. Pseudoscience has been used for those wanting to degrade the metaphysical investigations. Unfortunately, people with either agendas and or ignorance have muddied the meaning of the terms. Thanks for your comment H0riz0n 11:41, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
Hello. I see you've moved/renamed Quantum mysticism/metaphysics/etc to a different page, but you seem to have made the same mistake as H0riz0n, by renaming via a copy and paste rather than a move page. (See User_talk:H0riz0n#Quantum_mysticism_move_error where I pointed this out to H0riz0n.) WP:MOVE explains how to move a page while retaining the correct history (which is required for copyright reasons) In the meantime, I'll try and get an admin to fix this again. Hi Adam. I've been advocating wikipedia for a bit over twelve months, and I'm very pleased to discover someone else I know from the real world (you're only the second) who seems to have taken to it with gusto. I'm very interested in beefing up and organising the Australian sf information on here (although I've actually spent little time on it beyond Ditmar Award and its sub-page). Are you interested in trying to get some kind of project going? — JEREMY 15:05, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
Regarding your comment on my talk-page: I am currently not able to access my rather extensive book collection on Central Asian history. IF I am not mistaken, the issue was discussed my Grousset in the book "history of central asia". It may also have been in Rasyanovsky (Russian guy who wrote a really excellent summary history of Genghis Khan. He even refers to an interesting hypothesis according to which Temujin was serving as a Chinese general while being allied with the Wang Khan, and that much of his sudden rise to power can be explained by him actually using Chinese units in defeating some of his enemies early on). Something like that it was. The point is that at the time of the Genghite invasion, the wall was not as extensive as it was later on. The Genghites actually expanded and completed it. There are actually two chinese walls, one much further north than the so-called "Great Wall".

It isn't notable beyond the episode article itself. There isn't enough content to support an independent article, better to place the information in the New Earth article. I worry about that too: sometimes I write too technical. So I try to make it clearer. I thought here it's ok, because if it's unclear, people ask questions. But the intro to the article was mostly not written by me. I wrote the section "history" which is now "introduction". Likebox ( talk) 13:19, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

The article Dacianos has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
NN "caste," fails the GNG. Only coverage found (examining the sources in the article included) are casual mentions and namedrops. Notability tagged for over a decade.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}

proposed deletion process, but other
deletion processes exist. In particular, the
speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and

Thanks so much - extremely generous of you - the closest we come here is the Feejee Mermaid, but I liked the deep sea mermaid - cute idea. Adambrowne666 ( talk) 08:24, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

I didn't mean to come off so brusk at the reference desks. I was genuinely not understanding the nature of your question, and would like to be able to help, but I just needed you to provide more details about what question you needed answered. It is my fault for not understanding, and I am sorry that I came off the way I did. It was not my intent, and if I have caused discomfort, that is my fault and for that I am truly sorry. -- Jayron 32 06:12, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
A brilliant new year to you too, dear Adam, and thank you for thinking of me :-). I thought of you and the color blue one and a half years ago, when one of your protagonists passed away under mysterious circumstances, and hence .... --- Sluzzelin talk 04:07, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
Ha! Beautiful, thank you! Yes, the poor fellow. If only he'd read the story and taken its advice... Adambrowne666 ( talk) 04:09, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
Sometimes I have to ask for help in tracing a post. If you will show me a diff for when I bullied you, I shall review whatever was said and give you my explanation. Otherwise I can't remember what exchange you refer to. Cuddlyable3 ( talk) 07:17, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
I assure you, all correspondence is hereby stopped.
Hello, Adam! I caught your note just now. Sorry for not responding sooner (and for not helping you one bit). I know I've tackled Latin questions at the language desk, but I remain a bloody, though enthusiastic, amateur. Fellow ref-deskians such as Adam Bishop, Angr, AnonMoos (and that's just the letter "A" :-) as well as several others strike me as quite a bit more knowledgable, and (as far as I know) are indeed scholars. The collective at the language desk will always remain your best bet for giving just the right mix of erudition and craziness required for your type of questions ;-). --- Sluzzelin talk 20:44, 3 November 2011 (UTC)

Please, consider altering your user name, because as it is now, it comes through especially offensive to any Christian. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.21.201.72 ( talk) 23:29, 15 July 2012 (UTC)

The article Dacianos has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
NN "caste," fails the GNG. Only coverage found (examining the sources in the article included) are casual mentions and namedrops. Notability tagged for over a decade.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your
edit summary or on
the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the
proposed deletion process, but other
deletion processes exist. In particular, the
speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and
articles for deletion allows discussion to reach
consensus for deletion.
