Hi Adam Harriotsville, just wondering about your edit on Bobok. My translation (Lantz) has "Foo! No, I won't go, certainly not; it's a matter of conscience!" which is why I misinterpreted the ending. But I just checked Constance Garnett who has "Tfoo! But I shall go, I shall certainly go; it is a question of conscience."
