The Working Wikipedian's Barnstar |
For reviewing 5 or more Good article nominations during this past March 2011 GA backlog elimination drive, I hereby award you The Working Wikipedian's Barnstar. Good job! – MuZemike 17:24, 13 April 2011 (UTC) |
Hi Adabow. I was wondering if you could leave some comments on Mandy Moore discography here? Also, your opinion here, if possible? Thanks! Novice7 ( talk) 08:20, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
Hi Adabow! I know I've been kinda bugging you lately, can you check out "Irresistible" again? The live performances section, if possible :) <removed> Novice7 ( talk) 02:29, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Hi Adabow. I really do appreciate you coming forward about said issues. I understand what you are saying, and it indeed hurts to lose contact with the latter two. As you can see though, I can say that I am not the cause of either. Candy took advantage of me with Mimi. I mean, I waited 2.5 months for less than half the article, no one can say that is fair. I asked around 4 or 5 different times, and each time was a different dead-line and excuse. I'm sorry, but that is so nasty and hurtful. Next, Legolas, I have not done a thing to him, yet he automatically assumes a from of attack on me when I come to say hello to him. As I said Adabow, I have really not done anything except try and have a lot of friends here and do a lot of good work. Unfortunately, both are going to be sacrificed, as I really don't want to continue here with all the hatred and egotism.-- CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 21:00, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
Candy, this will be the last time I come to you before I assume you've rudely dropped our project. I have waited 10 weeks for you to do 40% of a freaking article. You claim you have been "searching for sources," well you're two/three sections only have around 4-5 sources while mine cover over 100. You are obviously not taking this seriously, and its upsetting that you keep either not answering or giving me these BS dead-lines. In case you didn't realize, its almost April 8th, way past your 4th dead-line. I will no longer play this game with you. You have 51 GAs, I doubt any of them have taken a tenth of the time you've taken here. You have until Monday at 12AM when I arrive back from a trip. If you're not done, then our joint effort is through
Now why would anyone want to continue with a project after that. Secondly, I never have you different deadlines or excuses everytime I said that my time on Wiki was limited due to preparing for college & current schooling. If you never wanted to do the project alone, or "overloaded" with work, then why keep biting me like you don't want me to finish. It doesn't add up. Candy o32 22:27, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
I'm glad you two have managed to sort this out. Thank you Adabow ( talk · contribs) 02:27, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
I'm reading through the article right now, and I must say it's very good. But,the Cultural Impact is big, as you said. I'll try to trim it out a bit. I'm reading the section for the first time, lol. Btw, in your edit notice the font tag is not closed :) Novice7 ( talk) 09:42, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
Beyonce did a commercial for L’Oréal Infallible in November 2007 but i cannot find any reliable source for it. Can you help please? Jivesh • Talk2Me 11:29, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
I am currently expanding the lead of the videography. As you did for the discography, i would ask you to trim it once i finish. Not now. Okay? Jivesh • Talk2Me 07:55, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
Best of luck for your project. Jivesh • Talk2Me 12:12, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
Sure i will. Jivesh • Talk2Me 07:19, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
But don't you think having dates written fully is nicer to the naked eyes? Jivesh • Talk2Me 10:21, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Okay. So all i have to say is that is well done! You formatted the references in the appropriate way. I saw the "You better not play me!" you put on top of your talk page. It's a line from "Girl", right? Jivesh • Talk2Me 10:26, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Can you please combine the first and the second images from here for me? Jivesh • Talk2Me 13:01, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Yes but as for the images, caption etc, i am not understanding what the reviewer wants me to do. And he also asked me to find a link directly stating that Knowles started to work on the album in 2007. Jivesh • Talk2Me 07:49, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
I am thinking o f withdrawing but i have no idea about how that is done. And i saw you removed the details i added. I did that because someone who commented at the FLC told that i should stress more on the commercial performance of the album as well as their respective records. Jivesh • Talk2Me 12:00, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
Let me know if you want help with "single Ladies". Jivesh • Talk2Me 12:14, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
"Single Ladies" was Black Entertainment Television's best song of the 2000s decade. Source. The link is dead since March 31, 2011. Jivesh • Talk2Me 12:57, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
Don't you think you have removed too much from the parodies sections? Information like why babies imitated the dance routine (it was explained by a psychologist or something like that). Jivesh • Talk2Me 13:36, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
Listen Adabow, i know that the article should be trimmed but don't you think at least the parody section should have remained, apart from some imitations which did not get attention. For instance, what should have remained is
"n addition, Knowles was due to perform "Sweet Dreams" at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards on September 13, 2009.[13] However, she only performed the bridge from "Sweet Dreams" at the beginning of her performance, before switching to "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)". Wearing a sparkly leotard and one silver glove, Knowles started performing the song with two background dancers. Knowles then paused, called out: "Now wait" and the lights dimmed.[13] The crowd began to stand and clap their hands together. When the lights came back, there was an army of single ladies from the front to the back of the stage. As the crowd cheered, Knowles and her dancers went through the dance routine.[13] Breaking the lyrics into short bursts, Knowles gave one excited audience member the chance to sing the chorus"

Hey Adabow :) So unfortunately, I too am totally lost when it comes to those Asian charts. I had already so much trouble with MC and finding sources for her success in Japan, so Korea is even trickier! BTW how do you like "Judas"? Personally, if she keeps this up, I think Gaga's days are numbered.-- CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 00:58, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for reviewing the The Vinyl Conflict for me, and I've fixed all of the issues that you have found. Thanks again, Crowz RSA 16:18, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
