Yes, it's true that the USA tends to use m/d/y a lot. It's ambiguous, so I prefer to use a format which is clearer. Anyway, if it were really to be totally clear, it'd be YYYY-MM-DD, but English WP has decided against that one. Oh well. - Denimadept ( talk) 23:48, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
