Propane is a flammable liquid, under normal circumstances the use of a propane torch uses propane vapors. Turning a tank on it's side or upside down lets out the fuel in it's liquid state which is more flammable. The Not A Flamethrower fuel tank mount mounts the tank horizontally, allowing liquid to move through the valve rather than using propane vapors.
