Hello, I'm responding to your edit adding "multiple issues" warning to this article due to lack of secondary sources. Of the 65 references, 36 (or 55%) are now secondary sources not connected to the subject of the article (newspapers, independent organizations). The remaining references to primary sources are primarily for biographical details or citations of scientific articles by the author.
It's very difficult to source biographical details of scientists from sources other than primary sources (interviews and articles written by institutions they're affiliated with) because newspapers rarely focus on biographical details of scientists when they report on discoveries. This is especially true of immigrant scientists (as in this case) who are routinely discriminated against, along with women and minorities. The fact that newspapers do not report on their biographical details does not diminish the importance of their discoveries. This scientist discovered the link between climate change and pandemics.
I'm writing this article, and editing several others, as an assignment for a UCLA college course (where we study how different scientists are viewed by the public and how to combat misinformation) and part of my assignment is pass review by editors and administrators. I would respectfully request that you consider my request above. Thank you. Ildominante ( talk) 00:56, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
