bile about Iran and other editors

I reverted your edit as we don't generally ask anyone to add content to a piece after it was published. If you want to write a piece for publication in The Signpost post at Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/Newsroom/Suggestions. As you are making accusations against other editors, you should post that material to WP:COIN so we can investigate the conflict of interest. You can also make such claims at WP:ANI so Wikipedia administrators can examine your accusations. You would also do well to raise issues about content at each article's talk page. @ Bbb23:, I was told by Chris troutman to post this report at WP:ANI. Why have you deleted it? 194.50.144.202 ( talk) 19:57, 17 January 2024 (UTC) reply
I'm genuinely sorry if I gave you a bad steer. I'm not sure if WP:PROXYING is the reason why. Chris Troutman ( talk) 20:58, 17 January 2024 (UTC) reply

Blocked for posting a report

@ Smallbones: you had asked for information, and I tried to provide it at WP:ANI. Doing this led to me being blocked without warning and my post was deleted. Is that the administrative procedure for managing disinformation and misinformation reports in Wikipedia? 194.50.144.202 ( talk) 21:16, 17 January 2024 (UTC) reply

User talk:194.50.144.202 - Yes, I have received your information, and thank you for sending it in a form I can read and try to understand. I think I have to take seriously somebody reporting that the Iranian government is taking over Wikipedia. On the other hand, I have to let you know how difficult this would be for me, indeed for most English speaking Wikipeans to "prove". When 2 sets of Wikipedia editors get into a knockdown-dragout fight, the calls of "fake news" and similar often come out on both sides and can get pretty nasty. As I understand it the MEK is/was an armed group that tried to take power in Iran around the time of the revolution. And the current Iran government is descended from an armed group that did take power at the time of the revolution. Whenever I find myself caught between 2 armed groups, I'm going to be very careful or just get my ass out of there real fast! On top of this you seem to be saying that both the WMF (T&S?) *and* arbcom and the admin corps have been infiltrated by the Iranian government. For the sake of a good research project, I *might* be willing to assume temporarily that Arbcom or WMF have been infiltrated - but not both! And in your message you mentioned something about the admins at Commons. Why not throw in the CIA and the KGB/FSB too? If it is true, it's probably too big for me. But I'll make a few inquiries, when I have the time, keep it in the back of my mind when I don't have the time, maybe suggest the topic to a couple of academics and see what I can do. BTW I don't read Farsi. Smallbones( smalltalk) 22:17, 17 January 2024 (UTC) reply
