Request reason:

I have noticed that the IP range 151.21.0.0/16 was blocked for the only page Dredg. In the history of the page there were some vandalism during the last months. The user who undid the last of them asked for the page's protection, not for this IP range to be blocked. The vandalisms were not done just by this IP range, and after a look in the history of the same page in other wikis it looks like the vandal behind those edits uses a number of IP ranges starting by 151. More, in the history of this page during the last year (actually, almost 2 years) the only anonymous who edited the page was him/her. I am asking to unblock this IP range and, instead, to protect the page as originally requested for the following reasons: the vandal may come back from another IP range; no other anonymous has been editing that page for almost 2 years; the last user's request was exactly to protect the page and nothing else. Protecting the page would be the most proper solution, because it would prevent the vandal from editing the page again regardless of his IP range without blocking this very IP range. 151.21.95.14 ( talk) 11:30, 3 September 2020 (UTC) reply

Not an unblock request. 331dot ( talk) 19:20, 3 September 2020 (UTC) reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{ unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

First of all, the above is not an unblock request. Unblock requests are not for requesting page protection. You were rangeblocked because most (if not all) of the disruptive edits were coming from your range. Your rationale here makes no sense, and the only page this range isn't able to edit is Dredg. If I see vandalism from other users on that page, we'll handle that as it comes. OhNoitsJamie Talk 16:21, 3 September 2020 (UTC) reply
