We Are Percent Ltd was founded in 2015 as "Team First App Ltd". In 2019 the name was changed to "We Are Percent Ltd", known simply as Percent. [1] Percent provides an API allowing a firm's customers to donate to good causes, matching a donation made when making a payment, or rounding up a financial transaction. The company also takes care of auditing and compliance processes to prevent fraud. It says 7 million nonprofit causes have been vetted to receive donations through the platform. [2]
