John Ellis is a South African singer-songwriter who was a founding member of contemporary Christian music band Tree63. After Tree63 split in 2009 he started a solo career. He has released 4 albums and an EP to date.

John converted to Christianity in 1996. [1]. In 2009 he moved from the US back to South Africa to start a solo career [2]
