Disclosure:

I have worked on local campaigns before and have been involved in city and state policy advocacy. Therefore, I have opinions about most of these people. This project is in no way created in service of any candidate, cause, or campaign. I've created this project to help level the playing field and democratize information about our city government, where good people often get discouraged from advocating for their beliefs by complex city jargon and hard-to-navigate websites and resources.

When I got interested in local politics, I wished that there was already a resource like this available for me to get engaged in Austin politics. This project is a result of many years of research and keeping links and sources on hand for when I got around to it.

I want this to be a resource for anyone interested in local politics, regardless of their political stances and backgrounds. I have been diligent in my writing to be as objective as I can be. That said, if you believe something I have contributed is unfairly biased, misrepresents context, or anything along those lines, please feel free to contact me and let me know.
