Emiko is a Japanese-American songwriter and performer based in Los Angeles, California. She was born in Washington, D.C. and spent her childhood traveling between Japan and the United States. This multicultural influence led her to found the Asian-American Music Industry Association in 2008. [1] Her song "California Screamin'" (co-written with Kevin Fisher who has written for Rascal Flatts, Sara Evans, and Uncle Kracker) entered UK charts at #17 in October of 2017. [2]
Emiko began performing at the age of 5 as a concert pianist and soon moved onto other genres.
