Writing since childhood, I was of course on the high school newspaper - as girls sports editor and then editor of the paper - and then on the college magazine staff. My first published article in a major daily newspaper - owned by The Gannett Company - appeared in a 1975 issue of The Idaho Statesman; a section cover (top of the fold) feature of a girl living with cerebral palsy. Since then I've worked at major metropolitan papers - both daily and weekly - and have written extensively for corporate and marketing communications.
I am new to Wikipedia; however, I am humbled by the privilege and honor to be able to contribute to world knowledge in some way.
I am considering updating my Web site to reflect my newest adventures as a writer, which means focusing on the environmental and ocean sustainability.
