Although I bought my first computer in 1998, I have been able to learn a good number of
programming languages and
standards. Without counting
LOGO, learned at primary school, I began with
DBASE and
QBasic in 1992, at a private institute. However, the first real contact was at University, having to learn
Pascal and
C for different subjects. I also learned a bit about
Prolog,
Smalltalk and
Gofer. A friend lent me the code for a
C++ program, and from there I taught myself C++. University also gave me a hand when learning
HTML,
Java and
Visual Basic.
