Pre-Maori Civilisations [DELETED]
I tried to start the article Pre-Maori Civilisations which shed light on the ancient origins of New Zealand. The history of NZ that has been suppressed for reasons unknown, but most likely so many of the Maori people of NZ can keep getting a free guilt ride from the government. The article told of a white race, most probably a pre- celtic civilisation that lived in NZ in the time before the Maori invaded their land in 1350AD, much like the Europeans did in the 1800's. This civilisation left stone carvings and solstice markings in the land around the North Island of NZ including many prominent locations in Auckland. You can still see deep un-natural and un-maori gouges in the dormant volcanoes around Auckland.
Of course there were other races living in NZ at that time, ancestors and elders talked about pygmies that lived in the forest, and those races were originally called the tangata whenua (or the firstcomers) later being changed to mean the Maori firstcomers.
Where these races went and where they are today is a mystery however the Maori were a very violent tribal race and it is most likely that these races were wiped out by cannibalism and rapine in the 500 years leading up to the arrival of the European race that now dominates NZ. This genocide has been witnessed by the Europeans as the Maori wiped out almost the entire race of Moriori, a peaceful tribe of Maori that some say arrived 20 or so years before the Maori, and lived in the Chatham Islands off the coast of NZ.
Much of the information I gained from CelticNZ, a website run by a man ridiculed because of his work on pre-maori civilisations, Martin Doutre.
There are also many reports on many Maori cultures mimicing that of Scottish cultures.

Telescum.co.nz (not wikified)
Near the end of 2004 I found the domain name telescum.co.nz and quickly purchased it. I then used it and a free server given to me by my friend, to launch a protest again Telecom New Zealand.
Their monopoly position and low quality, high cost services were ripping off the NZ public, and people were starting to get angry. We ran forums, descriptions of all the bad things that Telecom had done and even started a petition at one point. The website underwent three redesigns and I hope that it helped inform the public about the bad things Telecom were doing.
Then in May 2006 it was leaked that the government was to regulate Telecom, and unbundle the local loop.
The government obviously got the point that New Zealanders were not impressed with the Telecom regime and did something about it. I would like to say that my site helped to contribute to this, however it was never really taken seriously in the commmunity. It should have been though, as what it strived to inform people and ultimately induce, actually happened.
The site remains, however I do not have the time to update it at the moment, and I would like to get rid of it to someone who will be willing to carry on the goal of Telescum and inform the people because the beast is not dead yet.
