General

Wikipedia Article Circle (or WAC) is a term refering to when a Wikipedia user searches for an article, then clicks on a link on that page, and continually clicks on links from the new pages until they arrive back at their original page they started on. An example would be someone searched " fish." Now they decide to click on the " vertebrate" link on the " fish" article, then they click on the " hagfish" link on the vertebrate article, then click on the " fish" link in the " hagfish" article. The user has now returned to the original " fish" article, thus completing a full Wikipedia Article Circle.

Origin

The origin of the Wikipedia Article Circle came from the Wikipedia user MikeEricksen. However, it is not a well-known term and because of this, it is not recognized as and offical term by Wikipedia.
