I am a graduate student at the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill studying
library science with a concentration in
archives. While I've made occasional, anonymous edits since 2012, learning about the GLAM-Wiki initiative finally prompted me to create an account in January 2015.
Since then, I have helped organize two Wikipedia edit-a-thons on UNC-Chapel Hill's campus. In April 2015, I organized with
Sodapopinski7 the North Carolina Collection's
third edit-a-thon focused on American Indians in North Carolina. In April 2016, I am organizing an
Art+Feminismedit-a-thon with
henzekm.
As a native North Carolinian, I am interested in topics relating to the state and the South at large, particularly articles about women, people of color, and other underrepresented groups.
