My name is Hanna Nettles, hannanettles, and I'm in the class of 2022 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I'm majoring in Psychology (B.S.) on a pre-med track. I started to research my senior year of high school at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics. My research at the NC State Veterinary School focused on the injuries that occur through surgery and how pig intestines can be used to model and treat these injuries. I hope to continue research at UNC-Chapel Hill, either in gastroenterology or elsewhere. I am a current member of Helping Give Away Psychological Science club ( HGAPS), which now has over 20 members and is a non-profit organization with an alumni club and is in the process of expanding to other universities and colleges.
