To force an RRFA, a minimum of 25 editors must support the petition within 30 days of it being opened. Bureaucrats are empowered to strike signatures from the petitition (e.g. trolls/socks), and have the final say on whether an RRFA must be opened. Non-bureaucrats may only strike their own signature. The filing user is required to notify the administrator of the petition on their user talk page.
  2. If the criteria to trigger an RRFA are met before 30 days are up, the discussion may be closed early by a bureaucrat. If the criteria have not been met after 30 days, the petition is closed as unsuccessful.
  3. If the petition passes, the administrator in question is required to file an RRFA within ten days of the close. If they do not, their are desysopped. RRFAs are filed as subpages of WP:Re-requests for adminship, and follow the same format as a regular request for adminship.
  4. In an RRFA, the bureaucrat discussion threshold is lowered from 65-75% to 55-65%; a withdrawal or no consensus/unsuccessful outcome will result in tool removal. The support and oppose columns will be retitled keep and remove, respectively.
  5. Administrators elected to ArbCom or who successfully pass an RFB or RRFA are ineligible for the process for one year from the beginning of their service. Adminstrators subject to a failed desysop motion at ArbCom are also ineligible for one year from the date of the relevant motion passing.
