Goodbye

I'm thinking that it's a waste of time for me to contribute to Wikipedia. Huge amounts of time are wasted (for absolutely no compensation) making edits which are not always appreciated and are reverted for often trivial reasons. I have decided to refocus my efforts on specific technical writing projects which will likely pay more in the long run than Wikipedia (they could hardly pay less). Thanks... Johann Friedrich Struensee article

Apparently, this user is still around using the above IP address, 195.22.28.18, as they just made contributions about a week ago using that account. Normally, I wouldn't care but they made such a mess to the Johann Friedrich Struensee article last year, I initially came here to seek an explanation for it, only to find out they had been banned - as frequently appears to be the case... Speedy deletion nomination of Petrus Augustus

A tag has been placed on Petrus Augustus, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

the article Peter (curopalates) has been in existence long before this article was created. Both articles deal with the same person. Nevertheless, the information provided in this article was a valuable asset which I included into the other article. Thanks.

You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{ hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Tagmatarchos ( talk) 14:41, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Catherine Carey, without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. We have some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. I am not sure if this is the best place to add this, but I am unable to edit your talk page. Your recent move of Catherine Carey was confused and incompetent. There is no point adding "(disambiguation)" to the disambiguation page if we do not have a primary meaning. There is a legitimate debate about whether we have a primary meaning of "Catherine Carey" but there is a move request currently underway, raise it there.
