Beaverloop - PAGE UNDER DEVELOPMENT ... Beaverloop were a seminal punk/acid/jazz/reggae band formed in Perth, Western Australia in the early 90's. Beaverloop played hundreds of live shows over thier short careers, from pub gigs at local hotels in Perth such as "" to festivals such as The Big Day Out, Mudslinger and Rock it (references required). They made Triple J's Hottest 100 in 1997 (Reference Below). Beaverloop have been frequently played on Rage.
Band Members
Leon Ewing (Loon X-Wing) currently is a performance artist and musician. According to ABC Online, he is best known for his work with Beaverloop. He has been commissioned to record soundtracks for the Perth Theatre Company and Steps Youth Dance Company. Leon is currently devising hip-hop music theatre with young indigenous rappers in the Pilbara and writing a sci-fi digi-rock opera for the Perth International Arts Festival called, "Surface Paradise".
