Erick Peyton (born April 11th 1978) is a Film Maker that was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida. His videos have been nominated for the MTV Subterranean Award and seen on every major music channel. [1] [2] His most recent project was Snoop Dogg's presents Malice N' Wonderland. [3]

HISTORY

Erick Peyton was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida. He started shooting home videos with his first camera, at age eleven, and hasn’t put down a camera since. In high school, Erick turned Audio Visual geek, editing and producing commercials for the school news program, along with producing highlight videos for his high school football team. He went on to earn a technical degree in film production from Valencia College in Orlando, then followed his passion for film to L.A. He attended Long Beach State University, where he received his Bachelor’s in Film and Electronic Arts and learned the business side of filmmaking, including stints in the publicity department at Miramax and in the production and development departments of Dimensions Films.

After college, Erick started his own production company, Jelani33rd. From working with Fortune 500 companies to individual artists across multiple platforms, Erick has created short films, documentaries, 30-second broadcast spots, commercials, music videos, online content, and other audio-visual projects that demand high-end motion graphics, directing, and editing. As a director, producer, and writer, Erick’s mission is to consistently respect the art within all media while infusing each project with fresh, innovative ideas.
