I am currently a senior at Rice University in Houston, Texas, majoring in the Biological Sciences with a minor in Poverty, Justice, and Human Capabilities. My interests include issues revolving around medicine, health care, and medical ethics. My primary edits have been done on the Human Trafficking in the People's Republic of China entry as part of a Wikipedia project for my PJHC class. My goals are to condense the information on the current page and add new sections/topics that help to create a more cohesive and encyclopedic entry on human trafficking in China.

I am currently enrolled in the Education Program:Rice University/Human Development in Global and Local Communities (Spring 2015) class and look forward to contributing to the "Affirmative Action in the United" states page. I would like to revise the current page and bring it up to a "good rating" by adding new information, restructuring the article, and condensing current information. The banners on the page list many issues such as verification of citations and a lack of links to other articles. I would like to add new information to create a more cohesive entry and address the many different arguments for and against affirmative action in the United States.

I would appreciate any input in deleting and restructuring the information on the page. I would like any advice on approaching the topic of editing this page and would be more than welcome to any feedback since this is only my second time editing an article. Please let me know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns before I start my project.
