My Viewpoints

  • This page doesn't contain any user boxes or other fancy editing because I have better things to do with my time. I might jazz it up sometime when I'm bored.
  • I believe in the primacy of science and scientific thought. But that doesn't mean that I won't discuss other issues. I have an opinion about almost anything but that doesn't mean I'm opinionated.
  • I think I have a good sense of humor.
  • I am a spelling/grammar nazi.
  • I am atheist.
  • I practice NPOV but I apply WP:UNDUE strictly when it comes to scientific issues. Any pseudoscience in wikipedia should be clearly labeled as such and debunked within the article. The only opposing arguments that should be mentioned in a scientific article are those arguments that have scientific validity. For example, in the article on evolution there should be no mention of creationism or intelligent design because neither one of the two latter topics are a valid argument against evolution. On the other hand, in the articles on creationism and intelligent design there should be a mention of evolution because evolution is a valid argument against the two former topics.
  • I do not give up easily. The only way you'll win an argument with me is to provide irrefutable evidence that I am wrong.
