I am an architectural historian, working in the Philadelphia suburbs. My specialty is residential architecture of the Delaware River Valley in the years 1770-1870. Through the past five years, I have written and lectured on that topic as well as the architecture of Quaker meeting houses and general colonial American religious architecture.

I also have an interest in American political history, either writing or assisting with the following books: The North Carolina Electoral College: The People and the Process Behind the Vote (Office of the NC Secretary of State, 1988 with 1992 update); North Carolina Election Returns 1790-1866 (Stockport OH, 1991); and Ohio Elects the President (Bookmasters, Inc., 2000).
