In 2015, I stand opposed to fascism, rightism, crimes of decency against the natural world and interference in the natural development and progress of society and civilization. I stand apposed to destructive expressions of capital in social, political, and ecological domains. I fear for the integrity of biology itself, and the fertility of the metaphorical soil in which enlightenment must now somehow grow. It's a low point, but inspires righteous fight, not capitulation of will. And yet, I don't want to drown in a storm surge of hated and violence, or die a slow death from a contaminated environment and food/water supply... Tough corner to be backed into.
