whats with teh bunch of ppl that like to search for articles that they dont like, put their peckers up on the keyboard, slap on an afd tag, feel validated, and then clean up after themselves? i used to try to fight this by trying to sway votes, but by now i;ve realized that the best way to fight it is by improving the articles. when im not too lazy, i will.
i've emailed this to my friends, please do the same.

The annual military budget of the united states is more than 470 billion dollars - not counting money spent in Iraq, Afghanistan, or on secret projects (Black-budget affairs, such as stamping out third-world democracy, etc.). Shocking, considering that the rest of the world spends less, as a cumulative total, on similar affairs.
We have the power to amend this, to make our government do what it has failed to do so far.
Contact your congressmen and your senators; if enough of us do, they will listen.
One simple way is to drop them a line - the number for the Capitol Hill switchboard is (202)224-3121.
Another is to email them - their adresses can be easily found at www.senate.gov and www.house.gov.
Slightly more complex, yet more effective is to send them physical mail; simply adress the envelope to: "Office of Senator <Insert name here>, U.S. Senate, Washington, D.C. 20510" or "Office of Representative <Insert name here>, U.S. House of Representatives, Washington, D.C. 20515."
Please forward this to as many people as you can. Yes, this is a chain letter. If you break it, nothing will happen to you. If you don't, together, we can make a difference.
