Alex Tavares Torquetti, Aka Alex T., is a brazilian DJ. Since his 13 years of age, his interest was woken with the explosion of house and dance music. Finally in 2001, Alex T. found Goa Trance, and subsequently Psychedelic Trance, getting passionate for this unique sound. Music became part of his habits and interests, consuming most of his time through the perfectioning and the search for the new. It was in 2003 that the idea of becoming a DJ was materializing, and observing other DJ's in their performances, the results of Alex's mixing had become more mature and precise, developing his own and unique mixing technique. In 2004, after finishing a mixing course in a renowned Mixing and Musical Production School, he acquired his first equipments, and from then on started to mix every day, training and perfecting his line, which provided Alex an excellent recognition for involving the dancefloor with outstanding and psychedelic melodies, besides of his daring and minimalist mixing style.After all this Alex got interested in making his own music, and from then on he started do dedicate more and more oh his time to produce his music, and thru a long process he became more and more precise and mature in his productions. Finally in 2006 Alex found a name to represent his music, and a way to express his criativity and ideas, and so KOBE was born. Kobe is now the actual alias that Alex uses for his production, which follows a line going from Psychedelic Trance to a more Hi-Tech style, with influences of Progressive Trance, Techno and many other genres. In 2008 Alex is moving to Amsterdam, to study Audio Engeneering and Music Production at the renowned SAE Institue, to improve his habilities and know-how. He has joined forces with a his long-time friend Bruno (DJ Dada) and together they are now doing music under the alias Second Soul.The project is full of touching melodies with punchy basslines and Hi-Tech Ambience. After finishing his courses Alex T. plans to launch this Live Act, and further on, his solo Live Act, something to expect! Alex T. has performed at many club's and parties all around Brazil.He also produced songs:"They Don't Last" and "Low"( not to be confused with Kelly Clarkson's song,it's a completely different song and style.
