I'm very much fascinated by the concept of open source and hence Wiki. It led me to espouse Wikipedia in 2004, but edited its articles rarely. I first edited Wikipedia in 2004 as an IP-user and later on, registered to create my first article. First major work could be considered as the creation of the article: Communications in India. A few more pages were also created during those days but critically lacked any knowledge of the Pillars of wikipedia. I missed the enthralling world of Wiki from 2007 to 2010, as I was promoted and posted to a remote town in Tamilnadu, where I dedicated my time to infrastructure development for the rural folks, as a part of my profession in the government service. However, since 2011 I got some free time for personal on-line activities, as I got a transfer to a much relaxed center in Trichy, Tamilnadu. Now, I'm just getting familiarized with Wikipedia policies and guidelines and also trying to involve in many interesting projects during my free times. AshLey ^Msg 08:08, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
