From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Greetings!

I joined Wikipedia on June 14th, 2008. I decided to register with Wikipedia because I believe I can be beneficial to the community and present a lot of insight with the random knowledge that I have. I've been following Wikipedia since 2002 as a means of a second opinion to other encyclopedias like Encarta. It’s been rather amazing following Wikipedia from the start and to see how large it has grown. I have developed a lot of gratitude for the Wikipedia community for its noble collaborative pursuit of truth and its integrity. I’m typically in front of a computer for most of the day, so Wikipedia is an enjoyable, informative place to be, and has become a hobby of sorts.

Goals

  • Edit articles for attention to detail, clarity, and organization
  • Tag unclear, poorly organized, and unreferenced articles
  • Enforce conformity to WP:NPOV, WP:CITE, and WP:MoS
  • Removal of WP:SPAM and WP:WEASEL words
  • Remove and challenge unencyclopedic content
  • Create stubs and encourage their development
  • Offer suggestions on how to expand content to others
  • Merge similar content from multiple articles into one when possible
  • Replace good content previously removed
