Horizon was founded in 2021 by David Daniel Luthen [2]. David has previously held several key positions in a variety of multinational supply chain companies. Takigawa Group, Sriboga Holding, Pizza Hut, Kusuma Dharma Agung, BMW Indonesia, Audi Deutschland, Courier Indonesia & Oceans Unlimited Consultancy, and Bizsafe Deutschland are a few of them.
Horizon was founded after David noticed a fragmentation in the supply chain world in Indonesia. He ran into a variety of issues, including high shipping expenses, restricted visibility, and a lack of transparency in operational processes. To meet this challenge, David, as CEO and Founder leads Horizon with a core team that includes Edwin Ardiwinata (Co-Founder & CTO), Pungki Pramono (CFO), and David Chandra (CBO).
Horizon offers several one-stop solutions to implement integrated logistics operations, including the Transportation Management System (TMS), Delivery Marketplace (DM), and Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Delivery Marketplace
The Horizon Delivery Marketplace was launched in early 2022. This system will help the shipper find the appropriate courier for their needs. The Delivery Marketplace will recommend several courier vendors with different pricing. Customers have the option to instantly compare pricing and track deliveries in real time.
Transportation Management System
In June 2022, Horizon launched the Transportation Management System. An integrated platform to streamline operational processes for consumers and shipping vendors. This TMS provides features including Order Management, Task Monitoring, Driver Management, and an Analytic Dashboard to help and improve operational management.
Warehouse Management System (WMS)
In addition to concentrating on shipping operations, Horizon is dedicated to making it simpler for logistics company owners by providing the Warehouse Management System. A platform that helps users manage warehouse operations. WMS is currently being developed and will soon be accessible.
