John Boadu (born Saturday 25 October, 1969) [1] [2] [3] is a Ghanaian politician, an accountant and quantitative analyst. [4]He was the General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party from 2015 to July 2022 [5] [6] till He lost to Justin Kodua Frimpong who polled 2,837 votes, against his 2,524 votes at the NPP’s National Delegates Conference held on July 16, 2022 at the Accra Sports stadium. Early Life and Education

John Boadu hails from Assin Fosu in the Central Region, and a father of four(4). [11] John Boadu had a GCE Advanced Level Certificate from the Opoku Ware Secondary School in Kumasi and proceeded to the University of Ghana-Legon, where he read Bachelor of Science (Bsc) in Business Administration ( Accounting option). Career

John Boadu was the General Manager of Faab Limited and the Financial Controller at FM Woodtech Limited in the 90s. John Boadu currently is the Secretary of Express Way Microfinance Company Limited, Board Member of the Tema Oil Refinery, Board Member and Chairman of the auditing committee of Guinness Ghana Limited and the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Shokram Company Limited.
