Disneyland, now called
Disneyland Park, is an amusement park located in Anaheim, California. Now called Disneyland Park to distinguish itself from the second theme park built at Disneyland Resort,
Disney California Adventure.
Disneyland Park first opened on July 17th, 1955 [1] after it was completely designed and built under Walt Disney’s supervision. It is notorious for being the “Happiest Place in the World” [2] because the park’s theme showcases all the characters and productions of Walt Disney. Disneyland Park was the first Disney-themed park to come to life. Disneyland values family life, vacation luxury, futurism and technological advancement, and the Disney Company legacy.
