Jordan Jacobs is the Gemini Award-winning Executive Producer of the Emmy Award-nominated series Spectacle: Elvis Costello With... Over two seasons and 20 episodes, Spectacle features Elvis Costello in intimate conversation and performance with an extraordinary list of guests including Bono and The Edge, Elton John, Smokey Robinson, Norah Jones, Bruce Springsteen, Herbie Hancock, Renée Fleming, Lou Reed, Tony Bennett, The Police and President Bill Clinton. Spectacle is listed as one of the Top 10 programs on television by The New York Times and one of the best shows on television by TIME Magazine, and has been cited by critics as the best music series in television history.

Jordan founded and is President of SpyBox Media, which co-owns Spectacle, has other productions in development, and manages artists including breakthrough Juno Award-nominated Universal Motown music group Down With Webster, and songwriter Erik Alcock, whose recent cuts include 2 songs on Eminem’s 2010 worldwide #1 album “Recovery”.

Jordan began his career as a lawyer and founded a boutique Toronto entertainment and media law firm in 2002, at which he counsels a select clientele in all aspects of the entertainment and media industries. Jordan previously spent over 7 years at a major Canadian law firm where he practiced securities and entertainment law. Jordan is co-author of the Music Law chapter of the legal reference book Entertainment Law In Canada, and is counsel for arts organizations and charities including The Royal Conservatory of Music and its Grammy Award-nominated ARC Ensemble, and War Child.

After being accepted to Osgoode Hall Law School at age 19, Jordan received his J.D. in 1995 as one of Osgoode Hall’s youngest graduates.
