Sebastian George-Washington Thomas (born May 18, 1999) better known by his stage name Seabash, is an American rapper and singer. He is known for combining hip-hop and R&B with his poetic lyricism [1]. Seabash is known for anthem songs such as “2am”, “Fazos”, and “Hating”; but also, “Movin’ On” and “Why?”, two of his more emotive songs [2]. Seabash is also known to be hands-on behind the camera when he’s not making music. “His photography/videography company, bashbenzo, has allowed Seabash to work with many artists and make connections. He has directed and produced numerous videos that have shown on pages such as WatchtheYard” [1].

Sebastian Thomas was born and grew up in Columbia, South Carolina but later moved to Clemson, South Carolina at the age of 18 to attend Clemson University [3]. In junior year, Seabash began writing short form poetry so that one day he could create a song to send to his crush, which he was often nervous to speak to. Clemson never had much access to music or recording equipment in his youth; however, a friend named Zach (known as Xzachlyee) from down the hall in his dorm would make beats and regularly tell Sebastian to come record in his dorm room. This friendship was the foundation for Seabash’s first published song “803”. Thereafter, Seabash met with Raybush who lent him various music equipment to kickstart his journey as a professional artist. In 2021, Seabash spent the summer performing across the Southeast, Panama City, and Myrtle beach where he shared the stage with artists such as Jack Harlow, 24kGolden, Travis Porter, and Sean Kingston [4] [5].
