  • Gaius Laelius, consul 190 BC; second-in-command to Scipio Africanus.
    • Time to revise - about an hour to two hours, including searching for references to Laelius in original sources, rewriting texts, changing links.
    • What was added - notes were changed to references, with extensive comments in some; information on Laelius's activities in Spain and Africa from three ancient sources; information on his probable background as implied from his late appointment as a quaestor.
    • What remains - inspecting other sources; editing text for a smoother flow of text.

And yes, there is a pattern. I am building up biographies of persons who were politically (and often personally) allied to Scipio Africanus.
