I live in Scotland and work as a freelance IT consultant, particularly concentrating on IT strategy and online technologies.

Interests

I love sailing in the summer, especially around the west coast of Scotland, and skiing in winter. I am a supporter and member of the Humanist Society of Scotland.

I am interested in all sciences but specially astronomy and the origin of the universe. I am fascinated by the evolution of life on earth and frustrated by those who try to push the many and various forms of pseudoscience.

I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness but am now a critic of what I believe is a dangerous cult. I am an atheist and am interested in the sociology and philosophy of religion and the history of the Bible and its gods, especially El, Yahweh (including the Tetragrammaton) and god's wife, Asherah.
