I am an Assistant Professor at Iowa State University. I am working on the oncogenic Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) to identify functional RNA molecules generated by the virus (with special emphasis on those which may relate to cancer). In particular, I am interested in non-coding RNAs and the relationship between their nucleic acid secondary structure and biological function.
