Vos

Vos is a 3 member Canadian band hailing mainly from the prairie city of Regina, SK. The group got their name from the dutch word "vos" which translates in english as fox. They formed in the summer of 2005 playing a Southern Rock/Rock, original set.

They are constantly writing new songs and always looking for new ways to make their songs spontaneous. Already they have been through many changes and have faced many challenges in their short time, but they still remain strong. Vos began to form when Tyler Gilbert(Vocals, Guitar, Banjo), hooked up with brother Aaron "Snawtz" Gilbert(Drums). They later picked up John "Johnny Bass" Buhr(Bass) to complete the 3 man band. Heavily influenced by Black Label Society, Lynyrd Skynyrd, CCR, Pride & Glory and Pantera, they unleash a raw sound with heavy driven riffs, quick pickin solos, thundering drums and booming bass with a touch of soulful singing, bringing a sound that themselves would enjoy listening to with a beer in hand.
