I'm primarily editing Padres player articles to help the body text flow better and tell the narrative alongside the player stats. I know that narrative can be a dirty word in Sabermetrics circles, but I mean simple things like: why was this player called up? whom did he replace? what was his role on the team? why did he leave the team? All the things that a fan might use to describe the player, but what doesn't show up on sites like BaseballReference. All backed up by citations, of course!
