Thanks for welcoming me. I have one question: normally do I answer to new threads on my talk page or on the page of a person who wrote to me? In my home, Polish wiki it's the latter, but I noticed that here that the whole conversation seem to be on the same talk page. Thanks, Jasiekzar ( talk) 08:02, 25 April 2014 (UTC)

Hi Valfontis,
Thank you for your kind comment on the other page - and for the help link.
To be honest, I've read a fair few pages and used the wiki Article Wizard to create my article.
There are limits to how much one can read though, and an even smaller limit on how much one can read and actually digest.
For me, the easiest way to learn is by actually doing it and looking at specific articles close to what I am writing about, which is what I have done and why I am confused as to why there should be any problem with my article, particularly as to date no specific errors have actually been pointed out to me as to what is supposedly wrong with it. Lack of a response from the person who doesn't like my article and lack of specific details of what I've supposedly done wrong just makes me feel like someone maybe being difficult for the sake of it - otherwise surely they'd point out specifics rather than vague guidelines which don't really tell me anything.
Anyway, I do appreciate you trying to help. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens.
Best,
Sarah PS I have read the yellow but am not posting an article link because it's about your comment to my comment not an article. SarahJamesorLeavesley ( talk) 13:18, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for the help on the Sam Baker (musician) article. I just added an Infobo and will try to add some additional content. Kmzundel ( talk) 16:37, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
( ←) Yes, it bummed me out. I like print. So yeah, he's not in the print archive. I found a good interview on the ND website and added a bit. I'm currently going down a rabbit hole of watching Townes Van Zandt videos, etc. but I'll try to come back to the Sam Baker article, I need to find out about going by "Dick Baker" in high school. Why did you revert my edit/comment at Talk:Kerby, Oregon?? I didn't write anything obscene there, nor did I vandalize the page. — Quicksilver T @ 22:39, 13 May 2014 (UTC)
The only reason I replaced the first photo is that we felt that the Timbertown USA photo better represented the beauty of our town - would you be willing to let me put the current photo further down in the body of the article? Thank you!

Lewis & Clark Law School you reverted changes to the alumni section and it has incorrect citations for members of the legal community. The updated version that you reverted from correctly cited the difference between federal and state judges. With your revision, the federal judges are listed as "justices." That ought to get fixed. You also dropped several alumni that had been added. And can you explain the reason you removed the photos from several sections? The overall issue with your edits is that you reverted to inaccurate references that had been painstakingly changed and cited. If there were issues, then the site needed a surgical edit not a meat clever.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Lbcstud562 ( talk • contribs) June 7, 2014

You are invited to participate in Wiki Loves Pride, a global campaign to create and improve LGBT-related content at Wikipedia during the month of June, culminating with a multinational edit-a-thon on June 21. The project is being spearheaded by two organizers with roots in the Pacific Northwest. Meetups are being organized in some cities, or you can participate remotely. Wikimedia Commons will also be hosting an LGBT-related photo challenge. In Portland, there are two ways to contribute. One is a photography campaign called "Pride PDX", for pictures related to LGBT culture and history. The Wiki Loves Pride edit-a-thon will be held on Saturday, June 21 from noon–4pm at Smith Memorial Student Union, Room 236 at Portland State University. Prior Wikipedia editing is not required; assistance will be available the day of the event. Attendees should bring their own laptops and cords. Feel free to showcase your work here!

Care to explain this edit? It says "This account may need to be blocked." I only edit Wikipedia under my name. Who is accusing me of being a sockpuppet? I have the right to know. Is it you? If so, kindly tell me where I am supposed to be editing under two names.
About Kevin Rose, his offer to buy back the house he purchased is bogus, which is why I reversed it. It was his duty to perform due diligence on his house -- to have it inspected for termites, structural damage, etc. before he bought it. Everybody who has purchased a house knows this. He obviously didn't have the house inspected before he bought it. You can't buy something, have buyer's remorse, and expect the seller to buy it back from you. You can do that with shoes, but not with houses. Rose's offer to buy back the house is just a ploy to fend off his would-be new neighbors.
More importantly, I really need to know why you think I'm a sockpuppet. I take this charge very seriously. You owe me an apology. Chisme ( talk) 16:10, 22 June 2014 (UTC)
Hi Valfontis, thanks a million for the links to flooded-out Oregon cities. Exactly what I needed. cheers! Finn-jd-john ( talk) 17:20, 28 June 2014 (UTC)
