Hi everyone, welcome to my page. I am just your average man on the street and the kind that you probably "saw but do not see". I love reading, have travelled widely around the world and I have been to countries in various continents (Europe, Africa, Middle East, America, Asia and Australia).
My dad has a lot to do with it, although like most things, he probably does not know. It all started when he bought a very expensive set of Encyclopedia Britannica for our family. The salesman managed to convince him by promising that the children would get good grades. Well, I am not sure how it correlates to my grades, but I am sure it kindled an inexhaustible thirst for knowledge.
As such, wikipedia seems to be a natural progression. I love the diversity of articles and enjoy the discussion of opinions in the name of balanced perspective.
While I have been reading wikipedia for a long time, I haven't participated in actual editing until recently. I stumbled upon on the Ching Hai page and was astounded that it looked more like a gossip page than an informed and unbiased article. I hope to be a good contributor for this page and hopefully see it to FA status some day.
