I am an undergraduate student at Rice University majoring in Political Science and Asian Studies while pursuing a minor in Poverty, Justice, and Human Capabilities. My studies focus on the formation of transnational activist networks, diasporic identities, and women's movements in the Global South.
On Wikipedia, I've contributed to articles assessing the theoretical and social implications for multiracial individuals in different societies. In addition to extensively restructuring the multiracialism article, I've started stubs on multiracial experiences in Brazil and the United States.

Multiracialism as a lived experience is something that is close to my heart. Prior to recent edits, Wikipedia's article on this topic needed significant buttressing and widening of purview. The article as it currently stands builds off of the notion of race as a social construct, and is structured to invite other editors to elaborate on how the connotations associated with racial identity differ across societies.
Although there have been improvements, there is still much work to do on this topic!! I've compiled a list of references that will aid in future edits of this article, please feel free to look through. More information about my specific plans for this article in my sandbox.
