Tim Morgan has been in the commercial Speech recognition industry since 1987. He was one of the original developers of the Voice Navigator – the first voice command and control system for a graphical user interface. Mr Morgan founded his own speech application design and development business with clients such as Apple Computer, NTT and Disney Corporation. He led a pioneering new product development team for a telephony-based, voice-web browser for Nuance Communications, the market leader in speech technologies. Mr Morgan was project coordinator for a European research project, FASiL (IST-2001-38685), which concluded in 2004 with a successful final review.

Grew up in the UK. Lived and worked in San Francisco Bay Area for over twenty years. Studied Computational Linguistics at University of California, Berkeley.
