Crystal Swing are a country and western group from East Cork, Ireland. The family group is made up of mother Mary and her teenage children Dervla and Derek.
The group gained national notoriety in February 2010 when a Youtube video of their single "He Drinks Tequila" became viral sensation after it was tweeted to the Sean Moncrieff Show on the radio station Newstalk. The video achieved 80,000 hits in four days gaining nationwide media attention. Despite being offered to perform on Newstalk, Crystal Swing openly snubbed the station, opting to perform on the RTE flagship show the Late Late Show instead.
